Lately with the seasons’ change, I have been feeling blue. I’ve been lacking energy and motivation. I thought of making energy bites, but I couldn’t find one of the ingredients, so I thought why not, a smoothie bowl, packed with flavor and energy boosting seeds.
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- Frozen berries
- Frozen mango (optional)
- Frozen or normal banana
- 2 drops of vanilla
- Some honey
- Chia seeds
- Protein powder if you have some
- Toppings : Banana, blueberries, raspberries, coconut flakes, banana chips, nuts.
Put everything in a blender, pour into a bowl, put all the toppings, and voilà !
It’s easy, fast, efficient. I can’t believe it took me such a long time to start making smoothie bowls, as I thought it was quite the ‘food instagramer’ stereotype, but I get the hype now.
